While working as a journalist in making documentaries, I was in touch with the tourism field and got an amazing experience that led me to get academic degrees on tourism development and international cooperation.
As a Spanish and Canadian citizen I've developed a mastery in translating from the Spanish language into English. I've also have collaborated with the European Commission in several projects based on tourism development addressed to European developing countries. These projects were split in many subjects like History, Adventure Tourism, Rural Tourism, Journalism, Psichology and Philosophy.
Mine is the path of the adventurer and the doer, more than the static or just intellectual translator. I've really experienced all of the above subjects like a project's maker, a technician, a translator, a teacher, an entrepreneur and so on, that have provided me with both an inbuilt enthusiasm for translating, and added skills to get closer to the public target. |
