I have also worked in the UK for over 10 years, so I also command English to an almost-native level. I offer Estonian-English-Estonian translations.
Medical and technical specialization
I am currently working as a junior doctor, so I am up-to-date with the latest advances in technology and pharmacology. This gives me an insider's advantage in translating the following texts in such a fashion as to make them most understandable to the end reader:
1. Pharmaceutical SPCs and PILs (e.g. Novartis, Eli Lilly)
2. User manuals for medical devices (Medtronic, Zimmer, Kimberly Clarke)
3. Excerpts from medical histories
4. Patents (particularly in biotechnology)
5. User manuals for household devices (Canon, Acer).
Quality
It's not enough for me that my work should be grammatically correct. I closely pay attention to the purpose of the text, as well as the vocabulary of its target audience, to ensure that the final reader will lucidly grasp the translated ideas as vividly and effortlessly as the original author intended.
My 7 years of professional experience has allowed me to work for some of the bigger translation companies. I would be happy to give you references of some of the project managers I have worked with so please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
Rates:
- 0.07 EUR per source word of translating
