After having spent several years in the USA and Germany working in the marketing of eCommerce and software, I moved to Fulda in 2003 and have opened a school teaching foreign languages and translating on the side.

I grew up and studied Economics in the U.S.A. and moved to Germany in 1989 where I've spent fourteen of the past seventeen years. My areas of competency in translating reflect my professional experience: IT, internet, import and export, marketing and economics.

As I am personally interested in history, philosophy and general scientific topics and spend a lot of time reading these subjects I am also conversant with their language and terminology and able to quickly pick up the writers' meaning.
