2.1.1 Remove the label for the old
software version from the top of the EPROM. Wipe the glass window with alcohol or other suitable cleaner to ensure the UV is able to properly remove the program.
2.1.2 Place the EPROM in the ROM Eraser and irradiate with UV for 40 minutes.
2.1.3 Using the ROM Writer, perform a ‘blank check’ to confirm that the program has been completely removed.

• 「ソフトウェア」 を稼動させる「指定されたCPU」 即ち、コンピューターの全体あるいは一部が甲の書面による承諾なく変更された場合
• ハードウェアの全部又は一部について完全な操作手順がとられなかった場合
• 乙が本契約により甲に対して負う義務に従わなかった場合、特に甲がなした操作指示に従った正しい用法により「ソフトウェア」 を使用しなかった場合
• 甲が承諾していないソフトウェア・プログラムが「ソフトウェア」のデータ・ファイルにアクセスしたためにコンピュータ・システムに故障が生じた場合又は「指定されたCPU」 において他のソフトウェアを用いたために故障が生じた場合
• 乙がバージョン・アップ版の受領を拒絶し、旧版使用の過程で故障が生じた場合。但し、甲に帰賓由がある場合はこの限りではない。
Translation - English (3) Party One is exonerated from the maintenance obligation under the following circumstances:
• The ‘Designated CPU’ that the ‘Software’ has been installed on, or the whole computer or any part of the computer has been altered without the consent of Party One.
• The appropriate operating procedures for the hardware or any part thereof have not been followed.
• Party Two has not complied with their obligations to Party One as outlined in this contract, particularly where the ‘Software’ has not been used according to the correct usage guidelines specified by Party One.
• The computer system malfunctions as a result of a software program accessing the data files of the ‘Software’ without Party One’s approval or the ‘Designated CPU’ has been used for another software application, causing a malfunction.
• Party Two refuses to accept a software upgrade and a malfunction is the result of using an older version, except where Party One has failed to provide an upgrade version.
