I studied Statistics at the National School of Statistical Science (ENCE) in Rio de Janeiro and I worked as a Statistician for the Department of Agriculture during a long time. I also studied a little Architecture. Later, I learned translation at the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC-Rio), where I also took my Pos-Graduation Course in English/Portuguese translation. I also took a Translation Technical Course at SENAC-Rio, besides I studied in other translation courses in Rio de Janeiro.
I have always worked as a freelance translator for several companies, where I translated texts of a number of disciplines such as engineering, electricity, mechanics, architecture, ship manuals, machinery and equipment, environment, fashion marketing, horses, film subtitles and so forth.
