About me

Currently a successful freelance translator, localizer and reviewer, I am a person with a solid linguistic background and varied professional experience.

I graduated with 1st class honours from the Teachers' Traning College of English and the Russian & Applied Linguistics Department at Warsaw University, worked as a reporter, host and newscaster in 2 foreign languages (for the External Service of Polish Radio), taught English, and was a Project Manager for one of the largest international localization companies.

I have a lot of experience in user assistance and software localization as well as marketing and PR translations. Although I'm a great believer in CAT tools, I always translate with the end-reader in mind. I am reliable and respect confidentiality. I'm also a good team worker who always follows instructions. I know the job of Project Managers and always keep their time in mind. Oh, and people say I translate really well...

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
