Source text - German Die Villa wurde ca. 1970 im Auftrage eines Architekten, der zusätzlich noch Gartenarchitekt und Bauingenieur ist, in modernem Stil erbaut und so geschickt in das relativ flache Grundstück integriert, dass sich einerseits der Traumblick auf die nähere und weitere Landschaft über Kastanienwälder und Tessiner Dörfer bis hin zum Monte Lema frei und unverbaubar öffnet, andererseits Grundstück und Haus praktisch uneinsehbar sind. Das Grundstück ist rund 3.000 m² gross und romantisch gestaltet mit prächtigen Bäumen, weiten Rasenflächen, Findlingen, künstlichen Wasserläufen, Terrassen unter der grossen Zeder, mit Swimmingpool und Trauben-Pergola. Ein meditativer Park mit lauschigen Plätzen. Die Villa hat rund 280 m² Wohnfläche. Sie ist modern gestaltet mit grossen Fensterfronten und zum Teil Flachdächern, zum Teil Pultdach mit Coppe-Ziegeln. It provides protection from ink rub and, if the page is to be handled extensively, from scratches, scrapes and fingerprints. Applying a matt varnish to a glossy paper will make text more readable by reducing glare. Printing with instantly-curable UV varnishes means rapid drying and immediate processing. And 'low-slip' varnishes can be specified to prevent publications sliding around when they are stacked, making handling easier. Used creatively, and with imaginative selection of substrates, varnish can contribute to the success of a project in a host of ways. Spot varnish applied to a specific area – a photograph, perhaps, or important text – creates a contrast that not only enhances the design but can also make images sharper. Gloss, matt and satin varnishes can be combined to create striking effects. Halftone varnishes can add depth – even the appearance of three dimensions. But to realise all these possibilities you have to plan for them at the start of the job. Applying a varnish to a four-colour job with heavy ink coverage may affect the production timetable, because the inks must be dry before varnishing. 	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
