Arabic-to-English financial and legal translator; translated thousands of pages of mostly legal, financial and economic documents from various Arab countries (1998-present).

- NEW YORK UNIVERSITY:

* Cravath, Swaine & Moore: Translated thousands of pages of financial, economic, and legal French documents into English during months-long projects; helped create financial/accounting French-to-English glossary (1998-present).

* Shearman & Sterling: Arabic<>English and French-to-English translation of financial and legal documents (2001-present).

* Jenner & Block: Translated hundreds of pages of Arabic financial, technical and legal documents dealing with Iraqi oil industry into English (2007).

- TV NETWORKS:

CBS, CNN, Fox News, PBS, NBC: Long-term assignments monitoring and translating Arabic and French TV broadcasts and videotapes, including Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya; provided on-air live Arabic and French to English translation; 2001-Present). Assignments included:

* Translated and did the voice-over for the last interview of Saddam Hussein with Dan Rather of CBS in February 2003, excerpts of which were broadcast 3 nights in a row on CBS Evening News and in many media outlets;
* Interpreted live broadcast conferences by French President Chirac and France's Foreign Minister for Fox News;
* Interpreted broadcast speeches by Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda members from video clips during the Afghanistan war, Iraqi officials during the Iraqi war, Arafat and Palestinian officials;
* Provided Arabic-to-English translation and voice-over for PBS programs (Bill Moyers NOW, others) and History Channel documentaries on the Middle East;
* Provided on-air media/cultural analysis during TV interviews regarding Middle Eastern broadcasts and events;

- Human Rights Watch & International Center for Transitional Justice: Translated into English the 300-page Arabic court verdict concerning Saddam Hussein and co-defendants (2006-2007); translated several legal, economic and human rights documents (Arabic<>English).

- Open Society Institute: Translate financial, economic and political Arabic documents into English (including a book-length manuscript on Libya under Gaddafi) for this non-governmental democracy-promoting organization.

- The Hunger Project: Translated into English many French audit reports and financial statements for this non-profit organization that promotes economic development projects in Africa (2005-present).
