| Translation - English Tranekaer
In Trankeaer, the well-kept old-fashioned houses gives the place a special feel. The impressive red L-shaped castle Tranekær Slot crowns a high bank. The castle’s history goes back to the 13th century as a royal residence. Altered many times, the last alteration was in 1860 when the 8-sided tower was added. Parts of the old castle walls are still 3 meters thick. A large public park surrounds the castle and around the castle’s moat are trees planted from all over the world.
The castle museum Trankaer Slotsmuseum exhibits the history of the castle and a copy of the castle’s great hall. The museum is small and fascinating, with emphasis on Langeland’s garden arts and crafts.

I write fiction in my free time and hang out with my family and friends, attempt to cook a great meal once in a while, and one day soon my novel will be finished, published, and on the Booker list...... so if you want to use me as a translator you should do it today and not tomorrow :)
If you think maybe my short stories and poetry might be more interesting that whatever you're doing at this moment, then check out my wee web. Wee isn't a misspelling by the way, it's just a braw Scottish word for small.
