The actual appearance of the printout is defined in so called Style sheets. In principle, the program just sends data - such as sample ID's and the actual protein or moisture values - and all formatting - such as font, font size and graphics such as a logo - are specified in the Style sheet. This procedure is at first sight somewhat complex, but presents an extremely flexible and customizable way of presenting the results. The use of so called XML format and Style sheets is also adopted as standard by major software manufacturers. Click on Project, Edit project Settings and open the analysis project from where results are to be printed. Then click on the tab Report settings. A dialogue window according to the figure below appears. In this window (the Report settings wizard) the user may create customized formats to obtain a printed report as desired. Benodigdheden zijn: Anorganisch chloor in poedervorm (granulaat), speciale chloortabletten, een chloordrijver (waarin de chloortabletten gedaan moeten worden) en middelen om de pH-waarde van het water te optimaliseren en een testset. Om chloor effectief te laten werken dient de pH-waarde van het zwembadwater tussen de 7,2 en 7,6 te liggen. (meer over de pH-waarde leest u verderop). Met 'pHminus' kan de pH-waarde naar beneden bijgesteld worden, met 'pH-plus' wordt de pH-waarde verhoogd. Hoe u de middelen moet gebruiken, staat uitgebreid beschreven op de verpakking. Voor het chloreren van zwembadwater dient u het volgende in acht te nemen. Het bad moet gevuld worden met leidingwater (absoluut niet vullen met bronwater). Nadat het zwembad gevuld is, moet u eerst de pH-waarde op het juiste peil brengen; daarna voegt u het chloor toe. Op de verpakking staat de juiste hoeveelheid aangegeven. Deze eerste dosering geldt als basis. Afhankelijk van de weersgesteldheid en het gebruik van het zwembad moet regelmatig chloor toegevoegd worden (4 tot 6 gram per m3 water). Bij langdurige zonneschijn moet dit dagelijks worden herhaald. U kunt ervan uitgaan dat bij slecht weer of minimaal gebruik van het zwembad slechts eens in de drie dagen chloor bijgevoegd moet worden. | Translation - English
Required materials: Inorganic powdered chlorine (granulate), special chlorine pellets, a chlorine float (to hold the pellets ) and pH-optimizing agents and a test set. To render the chlorine most effective, make sure the pH-value of the water is between 7,2 and 7,6. (You will read more about pH-values further on). pH-minus will decrease the value, pH-plus will increase it. How to use the agents will be described on the packages. Please take notice of the following suggestions, before adding chlorine to the water. The pool should be filled with tap water (under no circumstance should the pool be filled with well water). After filling up the pool , the pH-value should be adjusted first; after which the chlorine is added. The correct amounts are indicated on the packages. This first dose is a foundation. Dependent on the weather and frequency of use, chlorine has to be added on a regular basis ( 4 to 6 grams per m3 water). In prolonged sunshine this should be repeated daily. In bad weather or low usage periods, adding chlorine once every three days is a plausible average. |

Hi! let me introduce myself: my name is Astrid van Beek and I love languages. I live near Iowa City, IA and was born in the Netherlands. I started translating on a regular basis in 2004, while I had a day-job as a trainer/coach/consultant for groups, finding a lot of my materials in other languages, which I used to translated myself because no Dutch version was available. These translations were noticed more and more by colleagues and soon I started to translate 'per request'. Some of the articles I translated have been used in training manuals and published in reference brochures.
I started exploring the possibility of becoming a full time translator and after some months learning my way around job-sites and private customers, I finally found some agencies to join up with and my full time translator adventure began.. In 2005 I relocated to the USA and kept doing what I do best: Translating and Designing
Since a full-time translator needs a lot of support and back-up, my husband joined me in my efforts and together we are here to offer our services to all our -current and prospective - customers. |
