About me

I studied Psychology at Universidad Autónoma in Madrid (Spain) from 1987 to 1990 and Information Technology in a private centre (CENEC) – also in Madrid – in 1989/90. After an 11 year long professional career working in several different companies, especially in the area of IT, I started working as a freelance translator in January 2001.

I translate all kinds of texts from German and English into Spanish. My speciality is the German industrial branch, but I also have experience translating legal, commercial and philosophical texts.

My interests and hobbies include: philosophy, animal & human rights, vegetarianism, trekking, mountaineering. I collaborate with animal rights groups in Spain and Argentina and am a member of the Spanish Vegetarian Union.


Studium Psychologie an der Universidad Autónoma (1987-1990) (Universität von Madrid) und EDV (Programmierung) in dem privaten Studienzentrum „CENEC“ in Madrid (1987-1990). 11 Jahre berufliche Tätigkeit, grundsätzlich als Software-Ingenieur bei verschiedenen Unternehmen. Seit Januar 2001 Tätigkeit als freiberuflicher Übersetzer.

Estudio Psicología en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid entre 1987 y 1990, e Informática en el centro privado CENEC en 1989/90. Después de 11 años de actividad profesional, fundamentalmente en el área de la informática, comienzo a trabajar como traductor autónomo en enero de 2001.

Traduzco del alemán y el inglés al español, toda clase de textos, mi especialidad es el alemán industrial, si bien trabajo también con textos legales, comerciales, generales y filosóficos

Intereses y hobbies: filosofía, derechos humanos y de los animales, vegetarianismo, montañismo y naturaleza. Colaboro con diversos colectivos de defensa de los animales en España y Argentina, y soy miembro de la Unión Vegetariana Española.
