I'm a Dutch native female (yes, José is a girls' name here), interested in many things and experienced in more than one professional field. All kinds of languages have always been part of my interests, though.

My professional experience lies in photography (I learned the trade before the word 'digital' was invented), general medicine and health care, psychiatry (was a nurse in a mental hospital for a while), homoeopathy (had my own practice as a classical homoeopath for ten years, after five years of study), journalism (was the editor of a magazine about lifestyle and second homes) and tourism. Lately, my old love for fiber arts and crafts has returned, which turns out to be just as time consuming as my other daily 'chore', the restoration of my house.
