About me
Hello!
I am Valerie and live on the North Coast of Ireland, in a little town by the name of Portstewart, Co. Derry. I am self employed in services in Irish language/Gaeilgesince I obtained my degree approx seven years ago. B.A. (Hons) and I did reasonably well with a 2:1 even though I had no Irish beforehand. I am a teacher as well and love to help older people learn their native language.
I own the business, SMAOINTE, which designs and makes Irish language Greeting cards, as well as private commissions, le likes of wedding invitations and booklets, sympathy cards and rememberance stationery. I have good experience of translation, working as part of a team on the president of the European Commission's website when the Taoiseach held it, and more recently translation and proofreading for official EU websites. Therefore, if you need help, just contact.......
