I am a native speaker Portuguese with 13 years of experience as translator, proofreader, editor and project manager. For the first 5 years I worked as a project manager (coordination and follow-up of translations, analysis of incoming and outgoing documents, proofreading and editing of the translated documents, quality check) at several translation agencies. For the last 5 years, I have beenworking solely as a freelance translator, not legally bind to any organisation.

I have a perfect domain of Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. I graduated in these languages and I also have an additional training in translation, my profession since 1996, in cooperation with Portuguese and foreign translation providers.

My main areas of specialization are Medical/Pharmaceutical translations and software localization, technical/mechanical, business/finance, marketing and construction (see CV attached).

As freelancer, I am available for new translation projects. I am the one who manage my own providers’ portfolio and, as such, I am capable of meeting their requirements (as, for instance, the use of CAT tools, as Trados).

My deadlines are quick and short (a daily average of 4.000 new words, fully translated and proofread, ready to deliver) and I always meet my delivery dates.
