La Provincia di Milano è entrata a far parte del partenariato del progetto europeo INNOVATION CIRCUS.
L' obiettivo principale è l’esame e l’identificazione dei fattori-chiave dell’innovazione per coinvolgere tutti i potenziali utenti della nostra società.
A Copenhagen (Regione di Øresund), Riga (Regione Baltica), Berlin (Europa Centrale), Milano (Europa Meridionale) giovani, bambini, anziani, studenti e ricercatori, impiegati e tecnici di laboratorio si sono confrontati e parlati sul tema dell’innovazione nella società attuale: tutti possono essere soggetti innovatori ed è proprio alla collettività nel suo complesso si rivolge quindi il progetto Innovation Circus.
Lo scopo è quello di facilitare l’impegno, le esperienze e i modi che producono creatività, promuovere nuove collaborazioni ed aumentare l’inventiva intra e inter-settoriale, dei campi scientifici, dell’istruzione, degli ambiti pubblici e delle comunità virtuali.
Le attività dureranno 16 mesi (scadenza del progetto 30/6/2008) e serviranno ad identificare le innovazioni potenziali e d’avanguardia di ogni regione, in modo da migliorare la cultura innovativa europea e indicare le prospettive per nuove misure/azioni e politiche in tema d’innovazione.
Il progetto si concretizzerà in un concept scritto che identifichi i fattori guida dei processi innovativi. Sarà reso pubblico, unitamente a una nuova web-page e a degli strumenti ritenuti idonei allo scopo, così da essere sfruttabile da tutte le Regioni europee per aumentare la competitività della società della conoscenza globale.
Le attività
A Copenhagen, Riga, Berlin, Milano si sono organizzate le settimane dell’innovazione: momenti pubblici di confronto, dibattito, cultura e divertimento sul tema dell’innovazione.
Tali attività si sono svolte nel corso di 4 Innovation Days (giornate dell’Innovazione) seguite da 4 Innovation Weeks regionali e Workshop di Innovazione regionale.
Dal 9/4/08 all’11/4/08 si è poi tenuta a Berlino, presso l'Università delle Arti, un incontro finale organizzato dal partner berlinese (Universität der Künste), al fine di presentare i risultati delle analisi condotte e gli scenari prospettati in ognuna delle 4 regioni.
In questo momento, il partner polacco (PIAP) e quello di Berlino stanno preparando 3 pubblicazioni e un manuale che saranno resi pubblici dopo la fine del progetto (30/6/08).

Innovint (Support to the international development of new innovative entrepreneurs ) è un progetto Interreg IIIC finanziato dall'Unione Europea, che si è proposto di promuovere,
sostenere e accompagnare il percorso di internazionalizzazione delle imprese hi-tech di nuova costituzione.
I partner di questo progetto, che è stato operativo fino al mese di dicembre 2007, sono stati:

Il progetto prevedeva la selezione di un campione di imprese innovative che ha poi effettuato incontri con altre aziende, partner ed operatori dei mercati esteri e, di conseguenza, incrementato le loro chance di far business.
Il presente network ha inoltre facilitato l'interscambio di esperienze e best practice.
Nell'ambito di questo progetto, a Provincia di Milano aveva il compito di:
-identificare le problematiche e le necessità delle imprese hi-tech in merito al loro approccio ai mercati internazionali
-produrre la metodologia per l'analisi degli strumenti attualmente disponibili nelle varie regioni partner, per il sostegno all'internazionalizzazione delle imprese tecnologicamente avanzate e
-produrre la metodologia per la selezione delle imprese che saranno coinvolte nel progetto
-partecipare con gli altri partner europei alla sperimentazione di nuovi strumenti di accompagnamento e sostegno all'internazionalizzazione con il concreto coinvolgimento di un gruppo di imprese selezionate .
Oltre alle diverse attività previste dal progetto, sono stati organizzati vari seminari tematici e conferenze, gruppi di studio e network di esperti. Il progetto produrrà inoltre un documento finale di raccomandazioni all'U.E. entro la fine del primo semestre 2008 (in questo momento è in corso di ultimazione da parte del LP) . La Provincia di Milano, invece, sta preparando una pubblicazione finale di progetto che riassumerà alcuni dei risultati principali raggiunti da Innovint.
La CONFERENZA politica e finanziaria internazionale, l'ultimo grande evento progettuale, si è tenuta a Milano presso la sede della BPM - Via San Paolo 12, il 5 novembre 2007. L'evento conclusivo si è poi tenuto a Parigi nel mese di dicembre 2007 presso la sede del partner capofila.

Il Progetto Più - Percorso Impresa Università proposto dalla Provincia di Milano in collaborazione con Poliedra (Centri di conoscenza e formazione del Politecnico di Milano), Politecnico Innovazione, l'Università degli Studi di Milano e l'Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca, è stato completamente finanziato dalla Regione Lombardia, Fondo Sociale Europeo.
Il progetto si è rivolto a studenti universitari, giovani inoccupati ed adulti inoccupati che intendevano avvalersi gratuitamente di un processo di orientamento inteso come accompagnamento del partecipante nell'individuazione e realizzazione di un proprio percorso di inserimento lavorativo.
Sono state previste una serie di azioni, tra loro strettamente correlate, che riguardano:
-incontri di informazione orientativa
-percorsi di sviluppo di abilità sociali/orientamento alla formazione e al lavoro
-tutoraggio work experience: tirocini di trasferimento tecnologico

The Provincia di Milano has participated in the Innovation Circus partnership/ Consortium since September 2006. The project will continue until 30th June 2008.
The Project
The main objective of this project is to examine and identify the driving factors behind innovation,
to involve all the potential stakeholders in society:
in Copenhagen (The Region of Øresund), Riga (Baltic Region), Berlin (Central Europe), Milan (Southern Europe), young people, children, the elderly, students and researchers, employees and laboratory technicians, compared their opinions and speak about innovation in the present society: everybody could be an innovator and the Innovation Circus Project involved all the community on the whole.
The aim is to facilitate exploration of experiences and attitudes towards creativity, promote new
constellations of collaboration and enhance inventiveness within and across business sectors,
scientific fields, education, public sectors and virtual communities.
The activities will last 16 months (deadline: 30th June 2008) and include the identification of all potential innovators in society, the comparison of the different European experiences and the identification of best practices.
With this holistic approach the project will identify potentials and cutting edge innovations in
each region aiming at improving the innovation culture in Europe.
The expected results of the project include an outline of national and regional innovation initiatives
pointing out perspectives for new innovation measurements and policies (expected OUTPUTS : analysis, guidelines, a Working Conference).
The project will result in a written concept for identifying the driving factors behind innovation.
It will be made public together with a new web-page (www.innovationcircus.com ) . Thus the results and new tools for enhancing
innovation will be publicly disseminated and made exploitable for all regions of Europe so that this will increase the social competitiveness of global knowledge.
Activities
In Copenhagen, Riga, Berlin and Milan, the Innovation Weeks were organised: there were public moments of discussion, debate, culture and amusement concerning innovation.
These activities took place during 4 Innovation Days followed by 4 Regional Innovation Weeks and Innovation Workshops.
A final European Meeting regarding Innovation has closed the Project in Berlin. It was held from 9th to 11th April 2008 at the Arts University.
At present, the Polish and Berlin partners are working together to produce 3 publications and a handbook to be disseminated after the end of the project (30th June 2008).
The Partnership
The Consortium includes 16 partners from 8 countries including 4 new member states. Four of
the partners are SME’s.

Meetings
So far we saw the kick-off meeting on 21st and 22nd September 2006, in Copenhagen, with the signature of the engagement documents.
The first Regional Event took place in September 2007, in Riga. The Milan and Berlin events took place in October 2007 while the Copenhagen ones in December 2007. In this occasion, the organizational structure of the events as foreseen in the Agreement, included: an Innovation Day, an Innovation Week and related workshops.
On 21st and 22nd February 2008 and in the period 3rd-6th March 2008 the Consortium joined together to analyse the data collected up to now and organize the Final Meeting (10th-11th April 2008) at best.

Innovint (Support to the international development of new innovative entrepreneurs) was an Interreg IIIC project financed by the European Union which intended to further, support and guide the path of internationalisation within newly set up hi-tech enterprises .
The partners of this project, which ran until December 2007, were:

A representative sample of innovative enterprises was selected. These ones met other companies, partners or those working in overseas markets, and increased their business opportunities.
The network facilitated the exchange of best practices. The responsibilities of the Province of Milan, in terms of this project, were to:
Identify the difficulties faced by, and the needs of hi-tech enterprises regarding their approach to the international markets.
Produce a methodology for the analysis of the tools currently available in the various partner regions for the support of internationalisation of technologically advanced enterprises, and produce a methodology for the selection of the enterprises which will be involved in the project.
Participate together with the other European partners in trials of the new tools of guidance and support for internationalisation, with the concrete involvement of the group of companies selected.
In addition to the various activities involved in the project, a number of seminars, conferences and study groups were organised on this topic.
The international financial and political CONFERENCE took place in Milan on 5th November 2007 at BPM, Banca Popolare di Milano, Via San Paolo 12 - Milan. You can find all its documents on the innovint web site (www.innovint.net ) under the "Documents" folder.
NOW: the Provincia di Milano is working on a final publication which will collect all the results of this project. Scientipôle Initiative (the LP), instead, will deliver by the end of the first semester (2008) a recommendation paper for the EU Commission.

Project Plus - The University Path to Companies proposed by the Province of Milan in collaboration with Poliedra (Centres for Know-how and Professional Training of the Polytechnic of Milan), Polytechnic Innovation, the University of Studies of Milan and the University of Studies of Milan Bicocca, has been completely financed by the Region of Lombardy from the European Social Fund.
The project was addressed to university students, unemployed young people and unemployed adults who wanted to take advantage of free, individualized career guidance to help them to identify the options available and find a suitable employment.
The project consisted of a series of closely related steps:
-orientation meetings aimed at giving information
-development of social skills/ orientation regarding professional training and employment
-tutored work experience: work placements in technology transfer
-tutoring in business start-up
