The first Consultation Workshop for National Sustainable Development Strategy in Thailand was held on 5 February 2007 from 08.30 to 16.30 at Royal Princess Larn Luang Hotel, Bangkok. The co-organizers of this meeting include United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Office of the Na-tional Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) and the Business and Environment Program of the Thailand Environment Institute (TEI). Objec-tives of the meeting are to propose the draft report on Thailand's Sustainable Development Strategy (1st draft), and to brainstorm opinions and recommen-dations from relating agencies, including public sector, private agencies, edu-cational institutions and the general public.
