Experienced translator, editor and proofreader English <--> Danish, trained dentist, computer literate, excellent writing, speaking and reading skills in English and Danish. Voice-over talent with an educated, trained alto voice.
After I stopped working as a clinical dentist, I worked as a project manager for a translation agency before becoming a full-time translator. I am consequently familiar with the peaks and the pitfalls of the industry and understand the importance of deadlines, schedules and happy clients.
As a full-time freelance translator I have worked for various translation agencies throughout the US and Europe for the last 12 years. I have translated a wide variety of documents, ranging from software localization to movie scripts, from medical procedures to trendy ad copy, from telecommunications to Mickey Mouse. My main focus though, is dental and medical translations.
