Work Experience

Before becoming a freelance EN-FR translator in 2008. I worked several years as a Tetx-to-Speech linguist, in charge of the linguistic modelisation of French and Spanish commercial synthesis systems. I was first based in the UK and then in the US. After that I was in charge of all the French translations of a European city planning project for the Norwich Council (UK).
I currently specialise in environmental and ethical trading terminology and issues (sustainability, new energies, eco-friendly industrial products, fairtrade ...). I would very much like to get involved a lot more in those fields. I am also specialising in cooking terminology. I also speacialise in cooking terminology.
