NTRU has managed to find a suitable status in the market after many ups and downs as well as repeated modifications and improvements. Compared to such systems as RSA and/or ECC, the greatest advantage of this method is that this system is based upon a class of basic arithmetic operations whose inherent complexity is low in comparison with existing methods, amounting to O(N2) at worst. Therefore, NTRU is computationally very inexpensive and efficient. High efficiency along with inexpensiveness have turned NTRU into a very suitable choice for a large number of applications like embedded systems and mobile phones. As an inaccurate comparison, NTRU is hundreds of times faster than the most famous PKCS i.e. RSA. Moreover, key generation process is carried out much faster and easier in it. At the expense of those positive characteristics, the biggest problem with NTRU is that sometimes decryption fails in it; however, this problem can be compensated for by certain techniques. | Translation - Farsi (Persian)
NTRU پس از فراز و نشيبهاي فراوان و اصلاحات و بهبودهاي مكرّر، توانسته موقعیتی مناسب در بازار پیدا کند. بزرگترین مزیت این روش در مقایسه با سیستمهایی مثل RSA یا ECC آن است که این سیستم مبتنی بر ردهای از عملیات پایة حسابی بنا نهاده شده که پیچیدگی ذاتی آنها در مقایسه با روشهای موجود پایین است و در بدترین حالت به O(N2) میرسد لذا NTRU از دیدگاه محاسباتی بسیار ارزان و بسیار کارآمد است. کارآیی بالا توام با هزینة پایین، NTRU را به یک انتخاب مناسب برای شمار بسیار زیادی از کاربردها مثل Embedded Systems و تلفن همراه کرده است. به عنوان یک مقایسة نادقیق، NTRU صدها بار از مشهورترین PKCS یعنی RSA سریعتر است و همچنين فرآیند تولید کلید در آن به مراتب سریعتر و سادهتر صورت میگیرد. در ازای چنین ویژگیهای مثبتی بزرگترین اشکال NTRU آن است که گاهی عمل Decryption در آن با شکست مواجه میشود كه البته اين اشكال را ميتوان با تكنيكهاي خاص جبران كرد. |
