I have a MA in translating and interpreting with English & Portuguese as majors. Live currently in the UK, where I work from home as a telephone interpreter from and into English, using the following languages: Italian, Portuguese and Swedish. Lived 18 years in Sweden and have College degree as a medical secretary, which gives me a lot of knowledge in medical terminology. Translate also technical and medical texts.

I have been a multilingual freelance translator for the last 30 years. I started translating during my graduation in Translating & Interpreting with English and Portuguese as major subjects.

I am able to translate around 15,000 - 20,000 words a week, and to edit/proofread around 40,000 words a week.

The OS I currently use is WINDOWS 7, Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, WORD, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher 2010, Adobe Acrobat 8.0, TRADOS STUDIO 2009 and TAG EDITOR 2007.
