Recently, the European Union decided to make it more difficult for people to immigrate into Europe illegally. Britain’s Prime Minister Tony Blair thought this was a good idea. He said that people trying to immigrate into Europe legally would still be able to do so.
Illegal immigration has been a very important topic in recent elections all over Europe. Because of this, illegal immigration was one of the top political issues at the European Union’s government meeting on Friday and Saturday. Countries in the European Union receive large numbers of immigrants who want political freedom and better economic conditions. So far, countries in the European Union have not been able to agree on how immigration should be controlled. Britain and other countries want punishments, such as trade and aid penalties, for countries that do not control immigration. For example, Spain recently allowed 700,000 immigrants to move into the country. Some people called these punishments too harsh, and said that they would only hurt, not help. Penalties like these would take money from already poor countries and increase the number of people wanting to leave. Instead, a resolution was made that would offer countries extra help for their cooperation. The prime minister said that they will also be trying to stop people who smuggle immigrants into Europe. The European Union will also increase its border control laws. The goal of these changes is not to keep everyone out of Europe, but instead try to only allow legal immigrants in.

په دې وروستيو کې اروپايي اتحاديې پرېکړه وکړه چې د خلکو لپاره اروپا ته ناقانونه هجرت نور هم مشکل کړي. د بريتانيې لومړي وزير ټوني بلير فکر وکړ چې دا يو ښه خيال دى. هغه وويل کوم خلک چې اروپا ته په قانوني ډول د هجرت هڅې کوي هغوى به اوس هم دغه توان ولري.
غېر قانوني هجرت په ټوله اروپا کې د وروستيو ټولټاکنو مهمه موضوع وه. له همدې امله، د جمعې او خالي په ورځ د اروپايي اتحاديې د حکومت په غونډه کې غېر قانوني هجرت غټه سياسي موضوع وه. د اروپايي اتحاديې هېوادونه غټ شمېر داسې مهاجر ترلاسه کوي چې سياسي ازادي او بهتر اقتصادي حالت غواړي. تراوسه پورې د اروپايي اتحاديې هېوادونه په دې موافقه ندي توانېدلي چې مهاجرت څرنګه بايد کنټرول کړاى شي. بريتانيا او نور هېوادونه د هغو هېوادونو لپاره سزاوې، لکه د سوداګرۍ او مرستو جريمې، غواړي چې مهاجرت نه کنټرولوي. د بېلګې په توګه، سپېن په دې وروستيو کې 700,000 مهاجرو ته د ورتللو اجازه ورکړه. ځينې خلکو دا سزاوې ډېرې سختې وګڼلې، او وې ويل چې دا به مرسته ونکړي، بلکې ټپونه به پېدا کړي. دا ډول جريمې به لا د مخه د غريبو هېوادونو څخه پېسې اخيستل وي چې په دې سره به د هېواد پرېښودونکو خلکو شمېر لا پسې زيات شي. د دې په ځاى، يو داسې قرارداد ومنل شو چې په دې لړ کې به همکاري کوونکيو هېوادونو ته د لا زياتو مرستو وړانديز وکړي. لومړي وزير وويل چې دوى به د هغو خلکو د مخنيوي کوښښ هم وکړي چې خلک اروپا ته قاچاق کوي. اروپايي اتحاديه به همداراز د پولو د کنټرول قوانين لا پسې زيات کړي. د دې بدلونونو هدف دا ندى چې هر څوک له اروپا بهر وساتي، بلکې دا کوښښ دى چې يواځې قانوني مهاجر دننه پرېږدي.

Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a Kabul-based Afghan research analyst, writer, journalist, translator/localizer, and actor.
