I am a Pakistani Canadian, currently residing in Michigan, US.
I was born in Rawal Pindi, Pakistan and have lived mostly in Islamabad (while in Pakistan). Some other Pakistani cities where I have lived are Karachi, Kharian, and Mangla.
We moved to Toronto, Canada, in 1988.
Education
I received my undergraduate degrees in Science and Arts from the University of Western Ontario (London, Canada) and York University (Toronto, Canada), respectively. While working on my first degree I also took several courses of Russian Literature in English translation.
Experience
I have been reading, studying, writing, translating and editing documents from Urdu to English for over a decade. The documents I have translated span from the late 1800s to the present, and deal with a variety of subjects including science, philosophy and religion.
I am also well versed in the technical domain. I have worked as a Computer Systems Analyst with Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan.
