When I'm not translating or studying astrophysics, I run the educational enterprise www.raeiro.com which offers various public oriented courses, talks and workshops about astronomy throughout Portugal. Our present goal is to take astronomy in a simple, understandable, beautiful and mindblowing fashion to everyone in the world with access to a computer. Empower everyone with the critical thinking of science allowing them at the same time to learn together, and in the end, learning ourselves much more than it would be possible through any other way. That will be our first priority in the near future, and we'll soon have more details about our use of technology and open standards.
I'm also working on a book regarding science, philosophy and the future, and producing several projects involving science and art.
Some of my other works include webdesign and scientific consultancy. I've helped with the rebranding of the largest branding enterprise in Portugal. This work was a fusion of several fields of knowledge. I've revised the conceptual framework and wrote chapters about science, history and transhumanism in a book about brands scheduled to be published this year.
