I am the current maintainer of the Tanaka Corpus as used by the online dictionary WWWJDIC. I also regularly contribute new entries and amendments to the dictionary, and I encourage others to do the same.

The Tanaka Corpus, in its present incarnation as a set of Examples sentences for WWWJDIC is comparable to Eijiro, as seen in Space ALC. However, unlike Eijiro, dictionary entries in WWWJDIC are indexed to sentences explicitly rather than relying on simple text searches alone.

People interested in using the example sentences made available in WWWJDIC should be warned that there remain many errors to be corrected - feedback is welcomed through the links provided.
