I am an electrical engineer with a master's degree and 16-year experience as an engineer both in Canada and Japan prior to turning to translation. My specializations are semiconductor devices and electronic circuit.

As a translator, I have been working primarily on technical and scientific documents. I take pride in being able to understand the technical content of the source document and render it in the target language.

Reviewing of other people's translation occupies almost a half of my work lately, and I have accumulated much experience in it. I contribute to generating an error-free, easy-to-understand translation.

翻訳者となる前は電子技術者として日本、カナダで合計16年間勤務、カナダで修士号も取得しました。専門は半導体デバイスと電子回路。

翻訳者としても主に技術、科学文書を扱っています。文書の技術的内容を真に理解し、その内容を別言語で書き表すことを心がけています。

最近は翻訳のレビューの仕事が半分近くを占め、その経験も豊富です。ミスのない、読んですぐに内容がわかる訳文の作成に貢献します。
