Being a translator is all about working in a field I love. Meeting deadlines is part of my commitment to my work and I strive to exceed customer expectations and not just meet them.
I have worked on numerous translation projects for Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd. in Bangalore (part of the worldwide Bosch group) both as an in-house translator and as a freelancer.
I have also worked on medical texts related to veteran affairs and social security.
Another interesting project involved translating e-learning modules for an educational website.
I am deeply interested in the world of finance and business and would love to apply my knowledge into translation of business and economics-related material.
As far as academics go, I
-Successfully completed the "Course in translation techniques" conducted by Goethe Institut, Bangalore, India.
- Have passed the Zentrale Oberstufen Prüfung (ZOP ), Zertifikat Deutsch für den Beruf (ZDfB) as well as the Zentrale Mittenstufen Prüfung (ZMP) conducted by Goethe Institut (Max Mueller Bhavan) in India with flying colours.
I currently live in Mumbai, India and am fulltime mother, tarot reader, rune caster apart from a translation professional.
