Omar is an award-winning Colorado-based language consultant and one of the foremost experts in environmental translations in the state. His other areas of specialization include psychology, health care, special education, and finance.

Omar is a language expert with more than 12 years of experience working in many areas of the translation and interpretation industry. He has worked as a cultural mediator, senior translator, court interpreter, in-house and remote medical interpreter, translation project manager, and language instructor.

He is Principal of Well Translated LLC and a member of the American Translation Association. His clients include a wide variety of institutions, from startup non-profits to government agencies to large private companies, such as Language Line Services and Lionbridge.

His mission is "to deliver quality language services in English and Spanish through linguistic expertise, cultural competence and exceptional customer service in order to craft your message, increase your profits, and meet your communication needs."

Well Translated LLC was a finalist for the 2008 Longmont Chamber Rookie Business of the Year Award, was the recipient of the 2009 Community Action Programs Multicultural Award in the Business Category, was inducted into the 2010 Forty Under 40 Class by the Boulder County Business Report, and was a finalist for the 2011 Daniel L. Ritchie Award by the Colorado Ethics in Business Alliance. In addition, Well Translated LLC was chosen as one of six success stories for the Boulder Small Business Development Center's 15th Anniversary Video and was featured on their March AdvanceColorado.com eNewsletter.

Omar has a multi-disciplinary background that includes project management, environmental compliance, fund development, and sales. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology (from Hope College) and a Master of Science in Environmental Management & Policy (from Universidad Carlos III).

Prior to starting Well Translated LLC in 2004, Omar served as Controller and CFO of the CSPC-PIRC, one of two Parent Information & Resource Centers in Colorado, and before then, he held the position of Senior Project Manager of Environmental Services at Editorial La Ley in Madrid, Spain.
