I´m a qualified bank clerk. After that I did 4 years studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne and graduated in February 2007 as qualified translator in English and Spanish. I lived in Spain for 6 months where I worked in the marketing department of an estate agent. In July I published my book "Clearing and Settlement of securities". I´m working as freelance translator for 2 years.

I have skills in organizing terminology (Trados Multiterm).
Nach meiner Ausbildung zur Bankkauffrau habe ich ein Studium zum Diplomübersetzer in den Sprachen Englisch und Spanisch abgeschlossen. Neben meinem 6-monatigen Auslandsaufenthalt in Spanien habe ich während des Studiums in einem Business-Center gearbeitet, wo ich ständig in Kontakt mit ausländischen Geschäftsleuten stand. Ich habe Erfahrungen mit dem Terminologieverwaltungsprogramm Trados Multiterm und habe eine eigene Datenbank zum Thema Clearing und Settlement (Abrechnung und Abwicklung von Wertpapieren) angelegt, die im Juli 2008 als Monographie veröffentlicht wurde.
Aufgrund meiner Vorbildung bin ich auf Wirtschaftstexte (Kapitalmarkt, Börse, Bank, Wertpapiere, Versicherungen...) spezialisiert, allerdings übersetze ich auch allgemeine Texte. Ich bin seit 2 Jahren als freiberufliche Übersetzerin tätig.
