Saya mengaku apabila saya tinggalkan isteri saya selama empat bulan Hijrah berturut-turut atau lebih dengan sengaja atau paksaan, atau saya atau wakil saya tidak memberi nafkah yang selayaknya kepadanya selama tempoh masa yang tersebut padahal dia taatkan saya, atau saya melakukan sebarang mudarat atau lazim menyakiti tubuh badannya, kemudian dia mengadu kepada Mahkamah Syariah, dan apabila sabit aduannya di sisi Mahkamah Syariah, dan dia memberi kepada Mahkamah Syariah yang menerima bagi pihak saya SEPULUH RINGGIT maka pada ketik itu tertalak dia dengan cara TALAQ KHUL” (Tebus Talak).
Translation - English After the solemnization of marriage, the husband pronounces the following:
I pronounce that when I desert my wife for four consecutive Hijra months, or more, either wilfully or by force; or when neither my representatives nor I provide her with the entitled maintenance whilst during that period she remains faithful to me; or when I inflict any injury or generally cause her physical harm; and she subsequently complains to the Muslim Religious Court where the complaint is upheld; and she makes a payment of TEN MALAYSIAN RINGGIT to the Muslim Religious Court which accepts it on my behalf, thus at that point in time she is conditionally divorced with “TALAQ KHUL.”
