My place of birth was Posadas, a city in northeastern Argentina, near the border to Brazil. Coming from a melting pot of multilingual immigrants, my background was marked by exposure to e.g. Italian, French, German, Portuguese and Guarani from the start. For personal reasons, I moved to Germany, where I have been residing for the last 12 years. I attained the German academic degree Magister Artium in Romance Philology, German Philology and General Linguistics. Being fluent in many languages and living in a foreign country, it was only natural for me to begin working as a translator and interpreter during my time as a student. However, I discovered soon that these occasional, temporary jobs where the perfect complement to my love of languages and my academic studies. What began as an occasional (money-earning!) opportunity has become my main occupation, having gained 8 years of experience by now. My translations include English, German and Portuguese to Spanish.
