ABC Group and its operating companies have for many years distributed an annual survey to selected employees and asked them to certify their understanding of and adherence to ABC’s Code of Ethics.
The reasons for this survey are easy to understand, especially in light of recent headlines concerning the business behavior of other notable companies:
• To reinforce ABC’s expectations for ethical business behavior;
• To provide a method for employees and other ABC representatives to ask questions, disclose a possible conflict of interest, or identify matters of concern; and
• To provide a mechanism for identifying needs for training in ethics and compliance topics.
ABC’s Code of Ethics
The Code is explained and implemented in various "Policy Clarification Circulars" and ABC’s Corporate Policy Manual. The Code is an integral part of the company's compliance programs and addresses requirements in areas such as antitrust, “insider” trading, accuracy of company records, improper payments, exports, contracting with the U.S. Government, equal opportunity, international boycotts, protection of intellectual property, and environment, health, and safety.
Adhering to the Code and these policies is everyone’s responsibility. A violation can result in disciplinary action, up to and including discharge. Because some elements of the Code and ABC’s policies are structured around legal requirements, a violation of the Code or ABC policy might violate the law.

Objet: Enquête annuelle Code de déontologie et conflits d'intérêt
Depuis de nombreuses années, le Groupe ABC et ses sociétés opérationnelles réalisent une enquête annuelle auprès d'un échantillon de collaborateurs afin qu'ils certifient comprendre et respecter le Code de déontologie d'ABC.
Les raisons de cette enquête sont faciles à comprendre, surtout si lon tient compte du comportement professionnel très médiatisé dautres grandes entreprises :
Renforcer les attentes dABC en matière de comportement éthique dans les affaires;
Donner aux collaborateurs et aux autres représentants dABC le moyen de poser des questions, de divulguer un éventuel conflit dintérêt, ou didentifier les sujets sensibles ; et
Fournir un mécanisme didentification des besoins de formation sur les questions de déontologie et de conformité.
Code de déontologie dABC
Le Code est décrit et consigné dans diverses « Circulaires de clarification des politiques » et dans le Guide des politiques dABC. Le Code fait partie intégrante des programmes de conformité de la société ; il couvre notamment les lois antitrust, le délit dinitié, lexactitude des comptes des entreprises, les paiements frauduleux, les exportations, les contrats passés avec le gouvernement américain, légalité des chances, les boycotts à léchelle mondiale, la protection de la propriété intellectuelle et lenvironnement, la santé et la sécurité.
Chaque collaborateur a pour responsabilité de respecter le Code et ses politiques. Toute violation peut conduire à des sanctions disciplinaires pouvant aller jusquau licenciement. Certains éléments du Code et des politiques dABC répondant à des exigences légales, une violation de ce Code ou dune politique dABC peut constituer une violation de la loi.
