La ciudad de Arequipa conocida también como “La Ciudad Blanca”, debido a que la mayoría de sus edificaciones están hechas de una piedra de sillar blanco que es arrojada por el Volcán Misti. Tres volcanes dominan la escenografía: Misti, Chachani y Pichu Pichu. Es la ciudad más importante del sur de Perú, y la segunda ciudad en número de habitantes y desarrollo económico, después de Lima, también por su nivel de desarrollo y los servicios con los que cuenta, capital de la provincia de Arequipa departamento de Arequipa. Cuenta con iglesias coloniales y mansiones, incluyendo al Convento de Santa Catalina, fundado en 1579 y abierto al público en general luego de 400 años de claustro.
A las afueras de la ciudad se encuentran un de los más importantes atractivos como es el Valle y el Cañón del Colca, sin duda, el mas reconocido atractivo nacional e internacionalmente.
Se ubica a 4 horas aproximadamente en dirección nor-oeste de la ciudad, es uno de los paisajes más hermosos de la geografía peruana: con andenes naturales, nevados, cañones profundos, y pueblos fundados en el siglo XVI.

Plaza de Armas de la ciudad de Arequipa
Rodeada por la Iglesia Catedral y diversos portales, la Plaza de Armas presenta una hermosa fuente de bronce de tres platos coronados con la figura de un soldado del siglo XVI. A dicho personaje se le llama el "Tuturutú", que según la historia era el encargado de avisar de cualquier acontecimiento novedoso.

Considerada como uno de los primeros monumentos religiosos del siglo XVII en la ciudad. Se construyó en sillar (piedra de origen volcánico), con bóvedas de ladrillo; fue destruida por un incendio en 1844 y reconstruida en 1868 por el arquitecto arequipeño Lucas Poblete. Fue duramente golpeada por el terremoto del año 2001, el que afecto seriamente sus torres.

Este conjunto esta integrado por diversos edificios levantados por los jesuitas tanto para fines religiosos como para vivienda, y forma un monumento representativo de la arquitectura religiosa propia del siglo XVII (1660). La estructura actual data de 1650. Posee aproximadamente 66 lienzos de la escuela cuzqueña, de artistas como Bernardo Bitti y Diego de la Puente.

Location and Geography
The city of Arequipa is also known as “The White City” because the majority of the buildings are made from a white volcanic stone from the Misti Volcano. Three volcanoes dominate the city’s backdrop: Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu. It is the most important city in southern Peru because of its development and the availability of services. It is the second largest city in population and economic development in the county, after Lima. It is the capital of the Province of Arequipa and the Department of Arequipa. It contains colonial churches and mansions, including the Convent of Santa Catalina, founded in 1570 and now open to the general public after 400 years of secrecy.
Outside of the city the most important attraction is the Colca Canyon and Valley, without a doubt, of national and international interest.
Local Attractions:
Plaza de Armas of the city of Arequipa Surrounded by the Cathedral and diverse decorative doors, the Plaza de Armas is centered around a beautiful bronze fountain of three tiers and toped with the figure of a XVI century soldier. It is popularly called Tuturutu; according to the history of the era he was in charge of advising all new events.

The complex includes the Franciscan church, the convent and a smaller church known as the Third Order. In the church, of note is the baroque pulpit decorated with cutout relief and the silver front of the main alter.
Located approximately 4 hours northwest of the city, it is one of the most beautiful Peruvian landscapes with natural bridges, snowcapped mountains, deep canyons and villages founded in the XVI century.

TARIFAS
La tarifa acordada incluye los servicios que expresamente se describen y señalan. La tarifa es por persona, sobre una base de ocupación doble, a menos que se indique diferentes condiciones. Las tarifas están expresadas en dólares americanos y sujetas a cambio sin previo.
PROGRAMAS
Los programas se organizan de manera cuidadosa aunque, sólo por razones operacionales en algunas ocasiones puede ser necesario cambiar el orden de actividades en el itinerario o la ruta especificada, y si se presentara el caso lo cual se da en raras ocasiones, el itinerario en general sólo debe tomarse como una guía referencial.
PASAJES AEREOS
Los cronogramas y números de vuelo están sujetos a cambio hasta la fecha de viaje por parte de la aerolínea. Los precios de los pasajes están sujetos a disponibilidad y a cambio sin previo aviso hasta que hayan sido emitidos e incluyen los gastos por pago con tarjeta de crédito. Algunas restricciones se aplican, incluyendo (pero no de manera limitativa) el hecho que los boletos perdidos no son reembolsables, y que además están sujetos a limitaciones propias de las aerolíneas, multas y/o específicas condiciones de la tarifa contratada.
RESERVACIONES
Mientras no exista la confirmación escrita por parte del solicitante y el pago del importe acordado por parte del viajero o cualquier otra empresa mediadora en su compra, no podrá considerarse ninguna reserva efectuada. De igual manera, en ciertos casos especiales se deberá esperar la reconfirmación de la reserva debido a las restricciones normativas del país ó condiciones de algún proveedor de servicios, aún habiendo efectuado el respectivo deposito de dinero correspondiente.
TOURS CONTRATADOS
Anulaciones y Reembolsos:
- Las solicitudes de reembolsos se deben enviar por escrito incluyendo toda la información pertinente, de tal manera que puedan ser atendidas inmediatamente.
- Si una anulación se recibe hasta e incluyendo los 30 días antes de la fecha de llegada al Perú o inicio del servicio contratado, el depósito del viaje será reembolsable íntegramente menos gastos administrativos.
Esto no se aplicará durante la temporada alta: Abril-Agosto.
- Si una anulación se recibe 29-16 días antes de la fecha de llegada o inicio del servicio contratado, el reembolso estará sujeto a una penalidad del 50% del precio contratado.
- No se concederá reembolso alguno si la anulación se recibe con menos de 15 días antes de la fecha de llegada o inicio del servicio contratado.
- Si se realizara una venta de último minuto y posteriormente se solicitara su reembolso, la penalidad que se aplica es del 100% del precio contratado.
- La no presentación del(los) pasajero(s), dará lugar a la perdida total del servicio contratado sin derecho a devolución alguna.
- Asimismo la anulación o retiro del o de los servicios contratados durante la excursión, no tendrá derecho a devolución alguna.
- Algunos servicios se pueden interrumpir o pueden ser cancelados debido a condiciones climáticas, razones de fuerza mayor, disturbios, etc., u otras fuera del control de los hoteles, líneas aéreas, proveedores de servicios o de Qoyllur Tours o sus asociados. En este caso, ningún reembolso será otorgado como resultado de estas interrupciones o cancelaciones ajenas a nuestro control.
RESPONSABILIDAD
En la organización , arreglo ,reservas y todo lo relacionado al tour solicitado , Qoyllur Tours actúa por cuenta y orden y solicitud de nuestros clientes, organizando en su nombre los medios de transporte, alojamiento u otros servicios turísticos requeridos, por tanto no asumimos la responsabilidad en caso de accidentes,enfermedades,daños, pérdidas, demoras o interferencias con el tour por causa de fuerza mayor u otros acontecimientos, así como negligencia de parte de las compañías ó personas involucradas en los servicios de transporte, aéreo ó terrestre, alojamiento u otras servicios que indique el programa no operados directamente por LA AGENCIA , los mismos que no involucran nuestra responsabilidad, especialmente con respecto a los horarios y programas .
IMPORTANTE
Nuestra Empresa no se hace responsable por enfermedades, impedimentos físicos y/o mentales, contraídos los cuales puedan poner en peligro integridad ó la salud del pasajero o de terceros durante el desarrollo del tour contratado, o que impliquen impedimento ó limitación para la prestación de nuestros servicios turísticos.
Por tanto, la Empresa NO reconocerá reclamo o devolución alguna por los conceptos mencionados, incluyendo los casos donde en condiciones normales no se manifieste algún problema.
Solicitamos se nos informe previa a la contratación de nuestros servicios la existencia de alguna limitación de esta naturaleza, con la finalidad de recomendar servicios específicos que contemplen dichos impedimentos.
ANULACIONES Y REEMBOLSOS TREK CAMINO INCA:
1.- Si la anulación ó cancelación del trek se efectúa 90 ó más días antes del inicio del trek, la penalidad será del 20% de su valor total.
2.- Si la anulación ó cancelación del trek se efectúa entre los 89 a 40 días antes del inicio del trek, la penalidad será del 85% de su valor total.
3.- Si la anulación ó cancelación del trek se efectúa entre los 39 días previos e incluso el mismo día de inicio del trek, la penalidad será del 100%.
4.- Si durante la realización del trek y por decisión propia el pasajero abandonara la excursión, no tendrá derecho a reclamo ni devolución alguna.

PROGRAMS

AERIAL TRIPS
Time schedules and flight numbers are subject to change up to the date of the flight on the part of the airline. RESERVATIONS
While written confirmation on the part of the solicitant does not exist and the payment of the agreed amount, on the part of the traveler or whatever other intermediary business is making the purchase, there cannot be considered an effective booking. In addition, in certain special cases one must wait for reconfirmation of the booking on account of normative restrictions of the country or on the conditions of some provider of services, after having made the respective corresponding monetary deposit.
CONTRACTED TOURS
Cancellations and Refunds:
- Requests for refunds must be sent in writing, including all the pertinent information, in a way which can be seen to immediately.
- If a cancellation is received up to and including 30 days before the date of arrival in Peru or start of the contracted service, the deposit for the trip may be reimbursed minus the administrative costs.
This does not apply during the high season: April-August.
- If a cancellation is received 29-16 days before the date of arrival in Peru or start of the contract, the refund will be subject to a penalty of 50% of the agreed price.
- A refund will not be considered if the cancellation is received less than 15 days before the date of arrival or start of the contract.
- If one makes a last minute purchase and later requests a refund, the penalty that is applied is 100% of the agreed price.
- A passengers’ failure to arrive will result in a total loss of the contracted service without any right of refund.
- Likewise, the cancellation or withdraw from the contracted services during an excursion will not have any right of refund.
- Some services may be interrupted or can be cancelled because of climatic conditions, Acts of God, disturbances, etc., or others outside of the control of the hotels, airlines, service providers or of Qoyllur Tours or its associates. In this case, no refund will be granted as a result of these interruptions or cancellations not in our control.
LIABILITY
In the organization, arrangement, reservations, and all things related to the solicited tour, Qoyllur Tours acts on behalf, under order and at the request of our clients, organizing in their name means of transportation, lodging and other required tourist services, hence we do not assume liability in the case of accidents, illness, injury, loss, delays or interferences with the tour on account of Acts of God or other events; in addition negligence on part of the companies or persons involved in the services of transport, aerial or terrestrial, lodging or other services which indicated in the program do not operate directly for THE AGENCY, we are equally not liable for, especially with respect to timetables and programs.
IMPORTANT
Our Company is not responsible for illness, physical or mental disabilities, which contracted can put the integrity or health of the passenger or mediator at risk during the development of the contracted tour, or which implicates a disability or limitation for the lending of our tourist services.
Hence, the Company will NOT recognize any claim or refund because of the mentioned issues, including the cases where it is a normal condition and no problem is declared.
We ask that you inform us before contracting our services of the existence of any limitation of this nature, with the end of recommending specific services which take these disabilities into consideration.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS FOR THE INCA TRAIL TREK:
1.- If the invalidation or cancellation of the trek is made 90 days or more in advance of the start of the trek, the penalty will be 30% of its total value.
2.- If the invalidation or cancellation of the trek is made 89 days or more in advance of the start of the trek, the penalty will be 85% of its total value.
