Nell’anno scolastico 1998-99 è stato intrapreso uno studio, mediante questionario, finalizzato alla valutazione delle conoscenze sessuologiche di ragazzi di scuola media in riferimento: al vissuto dei giovani rispetto ai cambiamenti somatici della fase puberale; al livello di conoscenza dell’anatomia e fisiologia dei genitali e degli eventi quali polluzioni notturne e menarca; alla fonte di tali informazioni ed al rilievo assunto da queste esperienze biologico-emozionali, sulla costruzione dell’immagine di sé. Lo studio comprende 238 maschi e 173 femmine (11 - 15 anni). Il questionario è stato strutturato in modo da avere il 95% di risposte chiuse e differenziato per sesso (50% delle domande identiche). I dati sono stati valutati statisticamente mediante analisi inferenziale: come il test X2 e, ove opportuno, il test esatto di Fisher (a = 0,05). I risultati ottenuti dimostrano che tutti hanno una buona percezione delle modificazioni corporee in atto (B/1 - Negli ultimi tempi il tuo corpo ha subito dei cambiamenti? Si: maschi 94,1%; femmine 95,3%). Le femmine risultano mediamente più critiche rispetto al loro aspetto fisico (B/7 – Sei soddisfatto della tua attuale immagine corporea? Si: maschi 60,9%; femmine 31,4%; P<0,0001) che, vorrebbero diverso, almeno per un elemento. Tale dato sembra confermato dalle risposte alle domande di controllo sull’autostima (B/8 – Come ritieni di essere dal punto di vista estetico? In the school year 1998-99 a study was conducted by questionnaire to evaluate the sexological awareness of 11-15 year old children, with reference to: adolescents' experience of somatic changes during the pubertal phase; level of knowledge of anatomy, genital physiology and events such as nocturnal emission and the menarche; sources of such information; the importance attached to such biological-emotional experiences in the construction of self-image. The study included 238 boys and 173 girls aged 11 – 15. The questionnaire was constructed to have 95% closed responses, differentiated by sex (50% of questions were identical for boys and girls). Inferential analysis was used for statistical analysis of the data: test X2 and where opportune Fisher’s test (a = 0.05). Results showed that all have a good perception of corporeal changes in progress (B/1 - Has your body undergone any changes recently? Yes: males 94.1%, females 95.3%). Females are on average more critical of their own physical appearance (B/7 - Are you satisfied with your current physical appearance? Yes: males 60.9%, females 31.4%: P<0.0001), and would like to change at least one aspect. - Acido p-Toluensolfonico monoidrato di riferimento (grado ACS con titolo min. 98.5 % p/p).
PROCEDIMENTO
Preparare la sostanza in esame e la sostanza di riferimento con lo stesso procedimento. In un mortaio di agata pulito ed asciutto mescolare 5 mg circa di campione, precedentemente essiccato in stufa e poi macinato, con 500 mg di KBr fino ad ottenere una miscela omogenea. Porre in una pressa una quantità di miscela sufficiente ad ottenere una pastiglia di 13 mm di diametro (50 70 mg) e comprimere con una pressione di almeno 10 t/cm2 per un minuto circa.
Verificare visivamente che la pastiglia risulti idonea (assenza di crepe o fratture, trasparenza uniforme). In caso contrario ripetere.
Inserire la pastiglia nella cella e registrare lo spettro tra 4000 e 650 cm-1 sia per la sostanza in esame che per il riferimento.
La posizione e l’intensità relativa dei massimi di assorbimento sullo spettro della sostanza in esame devono corrispondere a quelle dei massimi di assorbimento relativi allo spettro dell'Acido p-toluensolfonico monoidrato di riferimento.

REAGENTS
- KBr for IR spectroscopy (Merck or equivalent 99.5-100.5% w/w)
- reference p-toluenesulphonic acid monohydrate (ACS grade min. 98.5 % w/w).
PROCEDURE
Prepare the test and reference substances using the same procedure. In a clean, dry agate mortar mix c. 5 mg of oven dried, ground sample with 500 mg KBr until a uniform mix is obtained. Load the die with a sufficient quantity of the mix to obtain a 13 mm diameter disc (50-70 mg) and compress using a pressure of at least 10t/cm2 for around 1 minute.
Visually verify the quality of the disc (no cracks or fractures, uniform transparency). If the disc is of poor quality, repeat the procedure.
Insert the disc in the cell and record the spectrum between 4000 and 650 cm-1 for both the reference and test substances.
The position and relative intensity of the absorption peaks of the test substance must correspond to those of the spectrum for the reference p-toluenesulphonic acid monohydrate. |
