Born to a US/Spanish family, native both in Spanish and English. Member of the Spanish Professional Association of Translators and Interpreters. Medium level German certificate from the Goethe Institut. Diploma in English from the School of Languages, University of Málaga. Certificate as English <> Spanish translator from the "Universidad Complutense", Madrid. Diploma in American English and American Literature from the USA-Argentina Cultural Institute. University degree in Sociology, English and Journalism. Latin American & Castilian Spanish. 3 PCs. Two tel./fax lines.

English<> Spanish translator since 1971. Broad experience in the following fields: legal, advertising, business, timeshare, tourism (sole translator for guides of world resorts for Club La costa, Costa del Sol, Spain), social sciences, human resources, IT, business, promotional, marketing, automotive (former translator at Quality Control Dept. with Ford Motor Co. Argentina)(2002: translator for Toyota Europe) , fashion, advertising, show business, ecology, company formation & management, investment, financial, export/import, audio equipment, household appliances, tools, toys, shipbuilding,etc.
Owned an advertising agency on the Costa del Sol, Spain, for ten years and published a bilingual publication (Which & Where/Quién y Dónde) promoting tourism and local businesses. Former translator and journalist with English and Spanish language publications in the USA, Mexico and Marbella, Spain. Translator of brochures for tourist departments of the Gibraltar government, local town halls and timeshare resorts, hotels, golf clubs, etc. Translator and editor of children literature for Editorial Sirio, Málaga.
