After graduating from the Humboldt University in Berlin, I was accepted by the highly competitive PhD program in German Studies at the University of Michigan. I lived in Michigan for 8 years, teaching among other things German language and literature.

I've been living in the UK since 2006, completing my DipTrans exam with the Institute of Linguists. My general paper was awarded Distinction and I received a Merit for my technology paper.
