* A curious Finn coming from a whole family of translators, dividing my working time between interpreting missions and translation work at home office.
* Finnish mother tongue, strongest foreign language German, but I also work from English and Portuguese (translations and interpreting) and Danish and Swedish (translations) into Finnish.
* Free-lance interpreter approved by the European Institutions; other conference interpreting assignments on the "free market"; community interpreting.
* Trainer of future translators and interpreters as well as project worker in a community interpreting project at my Alma Mater, University of Tampere.

* Also professionally trained in Music, nowadays an enthusiastic hobby musician (t-sax, flute, piano).
