Use of Information Obtained by Facebook
When you register with Facebook, you create your own profile and privacy settings. Your profile information, as well as your name, email and photo, are displayed to people in the networks specified in your privacy settings to enable you to connect with people on Facebook. We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Facebook that we think you may find valuable.
Profile information is used by Facebook primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service and to be presented to others permitted to view that information by your privacy settings. In some cases where your privacy settings permit it (e.g., posting to your wall), other Facebook users may be able to supplement your profile.

Facebook may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. Every day we hear more and more people predicting that paper books will inevitably die out. Among the most discussed subjects concerning future transition to texts on electronic media, there is a possibility for authors to earn their living by fees from texts on the web and an existence of book publishing and book trade in a new environment. But people tend to forget one kind of book trade. If production of paper books is completely halted, this kind of trade will not disappear, but otherwise will gain such a wide scope as never before. I mean antiquarian book trade. The first blow was inflicted on it on the quiet. Publishing policy has radically changed overnight, and shelves of regular bookshops got loaded not only with books rare because of its honorable age, but also with texts which were not possible to imagine in the book format but yesterday. And antiquarian book trade was not privy to these riches. People were hunting for new editions and not ancient rarities, they were bringing to antiquarians stuff, which was quite difficult to sell in that time. Financial independence was a second blow for this industry. When support from above stopped, it became clear that since then the demand for second-hand books decreased opportunities for payback were quite vague. Shops quickly understood the situation and started paying for handed-in books only after actually selling them out. Translation and interpreting are not only means to earn my daily bread, but also true passions and main hobbies. My mottoes in the profession are:

I translate and interpret from Russian into English and vice versa. I also translate from German, Latin and Ancient Greek into Russian and English. I especially enjoy working with ancient languages to which I devoted 5 long University years.
My fields of expertise are marketing, cosmetics, sports, tourism, law (contracts), real estate and fine arts.
I have graduated from St.Petersburg State University (Linguistics department) in 2006 and finished Conference Interpreting courses at the St.Petersburg Chamber of Trade and Commerce in January 2008. Currently I study at the Westminster University in London (PG Diploma Conference Interpreting Techniques).
