1. From your own point of view, what is up to now the bestidea you have ever conceived and accomplished, utilizing the networking technologies as "media"?. What sort of impact did you expect from the public?
My artistic job had an impulse when I began to work with the artificial life in order to produce images and an installation in which the people can interact with a society of digital beings. Although simple, these entities can develop unexpected mechanisms of collective learning and social co-operation. Such developments stimulated a series of open questions: which autonomy can they reach ? can they evolve indefinitely until to become "living entities"? how much such beings are the reflex of the man? they can help to understand our evolutionary paths to reach our intelligence, our societies, our psyche?
Thinking to the web, the original project (Emerging Relations) was extended to work on two installations connected through a local net. The digital beings could migrate between the two environments. The result was interesting: the public felt the fascination of the digital life, the feeling to experience over the metaphor our evolutionary roots, the intuition that the digital beings could go out in the external world.
From this experience, it started the idea of a continuos evolution of a community of digital beings able to create an autonomous language through the interaction with the human visitors. Entities that develop collective learning and affective behaviours as evolutionary needs. Such project started with an interactive installation called E-Sparks currently in progress.

Puna ime artistike kishte nje nxitje kur une fillova te punoj me jeten artificiale ne vend te prodhimit te imazheve dhe nje instalim ne te cilin njerezit mund te nderveprojne me shoqerine e dizhitaleve.Megjithese thjesht, keto entitete mund te zhvillojne mekanizma te paparashikuara te te mesuarit kolektiv dhe kooperimit shoqeror.Zhvillime te tilla stimulojne nje seri pyetjesh te hapura:cfare pavaresie mundet ato te arrijne?mundet ato te perfshihen pafundesisht deri sa te behen "entitete te gjalla"?sa shume qenie te tilla jane pasqyrim i njeriut/mundet ato te ndihmojne te kuptohet rruga jone e evoluimit per te kapur intiligjencen, shoqerite tona, psikologjite tona?Te menduarit tek web, projekti origjinal (Lidhjet e Lindura) u zgjerua ne punene e mbi dy instalimeve te lidhura nepermjet nje rrjeti lokal.Qeniet dizhitale mund te migrojne ndermjet dy ambjenteve.Rezultati ishte interesant;publiku ndjente terheqjen e jetes dixhitale, ndjesia per te kaluar ne metafore rrenjet tona te evolucionit, intuita qe qeniet dixhitale mundnin te shkonin jashte ne boten e jashtme.Nga kjo eksperience, filloi ideja e evoluimit te vazhdueshem te komunitetit te dixhitalit i afte te krijonte nje gjuhe te pavarur nepermjet nderveprimit te vizitoreve humane.Entitetet te cilat zhvillojne te mesuarit kollektive dhe influencojne/prekin sjelljet si nevoja te evoluimit.Projekte te tillafilluan me nje instalim nderveprues te quajtur E-Sparks momentalisht ne perparim/rritje. |
