I am a native speaker of English and work as a freelance translator, mainly focusing on European policy, current events and politics. I hold a BA and MA in English Literature.
I have been translating for a total of 12 years, during which I have delved into several subject areas, such as EU policy and official government documents, journalism, mass media, advertising, poetry and literature and critical theory. Working fields include energy and transport, agriculture, shipping, economics, journalism, among others. I thoroughly enjoy translating and consider it a demanding, yet rewarding job. I strive to be accurate, meticulous and punctual in my work. I am particularly happy about my Proz membership as I believe this contributes significantly to the exchange of ideas and information around the world.
