The lateral traversing unwind includes auto edge guiding /- 2” correction. Constant unwind web tension, 2 – 5 PLI, is controlled by an electronic brake and non-contact diameter sensor. By monitoring roll diameter a signal proportional to the diameter is generated. The brake controller compares the actual roll diameter to the set point and adjusts the brake accordingly to provide constant tension as required.

After completing secondary vocational training in electrical engineering, I completed my military service as an instrument maker. I was responsible for maintaining and repairing sight devices as well as communication and navigation equipment. I worked subsequently as a flexographic printer, letterpress printer, web offset printer and repro operator for several companies including a label printer and newspaper printer. I also worked for an international publishing company that prints scientific journals and as a webmaster and systems administrator.
In 2002, I decided to pursue my passion for language. I enrolled in a four-year training course in English Translation at Hogeschool West-Nederland, a Dutch University of Professional Education for Translation and Interpreting. After graduation, I was sworn in as a certified translator by the District Court of Utrecht.
