Der Polier, oder in Ausnahmefälle ein vom Bauführer bestimmter Arbeitssicherheitsverantwortlicher hat das Baustellenpersonal vor Arbeitsaufnahme auf einer neuen Baustelle mittels dieser Checkliste persönlich über die Arbeitssicherheit zu instruieren. Baustellenpersonal welches nach Beginn der Baustelle zugeteilt wird, muss vor Arbeitsaufnahme ebenfalls durch den Arbeitssicherheitsverantwortlichen der Baustelle instruiert werden.
Jedermann ist verpflichtet, nach Erhalten des Sicherheitschecks das Formular zu unterzeichnen und dem Polier abzugeben.
