During my years in Taiwan I worked as German lecturer at 2 universities. But I prefer to earn my living as a translator and I do this with still increasing enthusiasm since 1998.
I translate technical documents, manuals for consumer products, computer related products and I do software localization and proofreading.
3 years ago I started to translate patents and would love to go into other fields as well.
I use Trados and Microsoft Office environment and a fast DSL connection.
My location can be an advantage. GMT+08:00 offers the chance to get a translation done in the early European morning hours.
Chinese companies can contact me by Skype. I do speak Mandarin.
