About me

I am a doctor trained in England. I moved to Spain 15 years ago and worked for 6 years in hospitals before starting translating.
I have specialised in the translation of medical and pharmaceutical texts and have extensive experience in the translation of clinical trial protocols and reports, drug registration documents (Common Technical Document format), drug marketing material and medical articles for publication in peer-review journals.
My experience of the medical systems of the two countries has provided me with extensive knowledge of the terminology in both languages and of the stylistic differences which exist.
All my work from English into Spanish is proofread by a Spanish doctor.

Translation projects include:
More than 15 full drug registries (Sp-Eng) in the CTD format (since 2002).
Clinical trial protocols and monographs on Glivec (Imatinib mesylate).
More than 30 clinical trial protocols and final reports for various drug products in the fields of haematology, oncology, lipid metabolism, analgesia, infectious diseases and antibiotics, parenteral nutrition.
Medical articles in the fields of paediatric intensive care, patient transport, general surgery, cardiology.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
