About me

I am a freelance translator who has specialized in medical and pharmaceutical translation for over four years. I am also very familiar with scientific topics such as biology, chemistry, genetics, etc.
I have studied some related topics on my own: general pathology, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, AIDS, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, clinical research (clinical trials)... I have comppleted this knowledge in the Postgraduate's Degree in Medical Translation (2004-2005).
I have experience in many text types: clinical trials, protocols, informed consents, patient information, patents, press releases...
I am also a proofreader of Spanish texts. I have a very good command of the Spanish language.
I can also deal with software and web site localization projects, above all related to medical topics such as medical instruments, diagnostic, etc.
Regarding IT, I have a good command of CAT tools (Trados, Deja Vu, Transit, SDLX). I completed this skills in the Master's Degree in Translation and Information Technologies (2002-2004).

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together.
