How I got into Translations&Interpreting: I have been interested in languages since I was a child. That led me to this profession, to which I intend to devote my time for life. I may expand it to anything related to it, but I will never give up searching for the best counterpart of words or group of words in two or more languages. Every good finding makes me as happy as every quasi-good finding prevents me from falling asleep at night. Although I am aware that perfection is not attainable - sometimes you may be not at your best and other times you may, due to high speed talking, for instance, miss the best choice of words - I will never give up pursuing improvement and excellence. My personal tagline which appears beneath my user-name in my profile "Full-fledged" does not describe myself. Even if I died hundreds of years from now, I would not be Full-fledged, because the Translations&Interpreting profession, like science, technology and history, never stops. There will always be something to learn. "Full-fledged" is still one my favorite words and my personal tagline choice! |
