La ampliación del Aeropuerto Internacional de El Altet empieza a ser una realidad cada vez más próxima. El consejo de administración del ente
Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea (AENA) ha decidido adjudicar la construcción del área provisional de pasajeros, que podría estar lista en
octubre.
La ampliación definitiva quedará concretada en un plazo menor a cuatro años. Se invertirán 308 millones de euros, con lo que El Altet se convertirá en el tercer aeropuerto español en infraestructuras y volumen de vuelos.
El proyecto recoge la remodelación y adaptación de la actual terminal a la nueva configuración arquitectónica. El Altet dispondrá de 300.000 metros cuadrados, lo que supone multiplicar por diez su aspecto físico actual. | Translation - English
The extension works to be carried out in the El Altet International Airport now seem to be closer to reality. The AENA (Spanish Airports and Aerial Navigation) administration board has given the go-ahead to start work on the passengers` provisional area. This area could be finished by October, 2005.
The definitive extension project will be completed in 4 years or less. It will mean an investment of 308 million euros, and would turn the El Altet International Airport into the 3rd Spanish aerodrome with a most
comprehensive infrastructure and excellent connections.
The plan includes the remodelling, restructuring, and adaptation of the current airport facilities to a new architectural design. El Altet has an area of 300.000 m2 for the development of the Project, thus increasing its actual size ten fold. |

- Knowledge of terminological methodologies applied to translation.
- Experience with CMS such as b2evolution and Wordpress.
My published final work was the design of a terminology database in Access and the creation of a glossary about control tower communication (aeronautics). |
