About me

I translate from Maltese-English, English-Maltese, Italian-English, Italian-Maltese, French-English

All legal fields - I am a fully qualified advocate of the Bar of Malta, having obtained a B.A. in Legal & Humanistic Studies (Sociology), as well as a Master of Laws and Doctor of Laws degree, and can certainly claim expertise as far as legal translations between Maltese and English go, both ways, as well as a working knowledge with Italian and a little French, given that the Courses attended refer extensively to Italian and French law.

Education - My involvement at University level in the University Students' Council in Malta allowed me to experience drafting several proposals in the reform to the educational system in English and translating into Maltese, and vice-versa.

European Union - I have some experience translating texts of the European Union, and I have also obtained a Master of Laws in European Union Law.

Political - Experience translating EU texts and an active interest in politics, which was substantiated by my extra-curricular interests at university allows me to safely translate texts of this subject.

Humanities - These are some of my favourites given that the study of humanities, whether it be history, mythology or sociology (which I have a degree in), are a much loved hobby of mine.

General - Texts of a general nature are also translated.

Working Knowledge:-

Medical - Have some experience in the medical field due to some jobs I have undertaken

Sports - An avid sports fan, have a good working knowledge of the major sports, especially European Football. Italian football is especially followed.

Educated at St.Edward's College, a British Boarding School
Attended the Faculty of Laws at the University of Malta, obtaining:

a) B.A. in Legal & Humanistic Studies (Sociology)
b) Diploma of Notary Public
c) Doctor of Laws (LL.D.)
d) Master of Laws (M.Jur.) in European Union Law
