INTRODUCTION
Road accidents are the fourth leading cause of death worldwide for persons between
the ages of 15 and 59, and are expected to reach the third position for the entire
global population by 2020 (World Health Organization, 2003). Indeed, this is a
public policy concern that affects low- and high-income countries, and both the
United States and the European Union (EU) are currently involved in efforts to
reduce accidents and their consequences.
According to the Directorate of Energy and Transportation of the European Commission,
more than 41,000 people died and 1.9 million were injured on European
roads in 2005. In the United States, more than 43,000 road users died and 2.5
million were injured in that same year. This huge number of victims alone may be
a compelling reason to make the reduction of such crashes an important objective
for government, leading to the implementation of costly measures. Support for active policies also may be bolstered by the economic consequences of road accidents.
In fact, the European Commission has estimated the yearly losses related to
road accidents at 45 million euros and this estimation increased after the EU
enlargement to 200 million—approximately 2% of the European GDP—in 2005.

Accidentele de circulaţie sunt pe locul patru în topul principalelor cauze de deces în lume, în rândul persoanelor cu vârste între 15 şi 59 de ani şi se aşteaptă să ocupe locul trei până în 2020, în rândul populaţiei globului (Organizaţia Mondială pentru Sănătate, 2003). Într-adevăr, aceasta este o preocupare a politicii publice care afectează statele cu venituri mici şi mari, iar în prezent, SUA şi UE depun eforturi pentru reducerea accidentelor şi a consecinţelor acestora.
Conform cu cele declarate de Direcţia de Energie şi Transport, a Comisiei Europene, mai mult de 41.000 de oameni au murit şi 1,9 milioane au fost rănite pe şoselele europene în 2005. În Statele Unite, mai mult de 43.000 de persoane care circulau pe străzi au murit şi 2,5 milioane au fost rănite, în acelaşi an. Fie şi numai acest număr imens de victime ar putea fi un motiv temeinic ca reducerea acestor accidente să fie un obiectiv important pentru guvern, ducând la implementarea unor măsuri drastice. Consecinţele economice ale accidentelor rutiere sunt alt motiv pentru susţinerea politicilor active. De fapt, Comisia Europeană a estimat pierderile anuale cauzate de accidente la 45 de milioane de euro iar această estimare a crescut după extinderea UE la 200 de milioane - aproximativ 2% din PIB-ul Europei - în 2005.

Sistemul de protecţie a muncii X este o garanţie în asigurarea respectării legislaţiei în vigoare în materie de protecţie a muncii şi evaluare a riscurilor de accidente. Sistemul este constituit din toate ariile, organizaţiile şi persoanele involucrate în activităţile X.
Sistemul de protecţie a muncii X se integrează în ansamblul activităţilor şi deciziilor sale, atât în procesele tehnice, organizarea muncii şi în condiţiile în care aceasta se desfăşoară, cât şi în scara ierarhică a companiei, incluzând toate nivelele.

Bio:
I graduated a four-year faculty of translations and interpreting in 2007. Thanks to the professional translators who are responsible for my current practical skillset and shared their knowledge and techniques, I got specialized in both business and legal translations, as well as conference interpreting; the specialization is business(business communication & business law), but also legal and other specialized translations.
In July 2008 I graduated Communication and Public Relations, which is one of my favourites domains together with its connected fields (marketing - BTL, advertising, psychology, etc) and alternative medicine.
I grew up around a medical, healthcare and educational enviroment, thus I'm very familiar with the terminologies used in these areas.
