Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language and Literature, which included one year of study at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Translation-related work experience includes 3 years as project manager for a worldwide translation agency as well as in-house translation and editing; 3 years at a Spanish-language food processing magazine; and 5 years working with international trade shows for food ingredients.

Freelance Spanish/English translator for the past 9+ years. Recent agency translation from Spanish to English include medical records, legal documents/contracts, personal records/transcripts. Other projects include translation of a monthly health and wellness newsletter into Spanish for a major nationwide pharmacy chain in the U.S. and the translation of a book entitled, Dr. Mollen's Anti-Aging Program.

I also have working knowledge in the general fields of neurology and cardiology and drug trials as related to neuromuscular diseases, specifically.
