Extensive tax research and writing experience (Tax Court briefs, memoranda, IRS Letter requests, firm plain-English (for clients) and technical (for firm' tax professionals) explanations of changes in tax laws and regs, as well as rulings, while in the world headquarters of a Big-Four (then Big-Eight) accounting firm; later Tax Senior and Tax Manager for mid-tier NYC accounting firms.
Translation experience includes accounting/audit reports and annual reports (through my 9 client accounting firms) for almost all Peruvian subsidiaries of US, Canadian and UK businesses, all Japan Bank (JBIC) audit reports and a large percentage of reporting for USAID, CIDA, WB, IBRD and ECLOF projects in Peru, as well as those of other NGOs and cooperation agencies active in Peru.
From 2001 to the end of 2004 (ops sold to Telefónica de España) responsible for translation into English for all of BellSouth's operations in Latin America, including daily relevant news summaries from all countries with ops, marketing plans and promotions, tech specs and social responsiblity programs. Translation of telcom tech specs and contracts for Asian providers active throughout Latin America.
